Prop firms that allow EAs and algorithmic trading

Almost every firm we track allows EAs in some form, and most attach a condition. The common ones: the strategy must be your own rather than commercially bought, you must disclose it, or fully unattended systems need approval. The firms below allow EAs without a disclosure or approval step, though some still ban specific automated strategies; each firm page sets out its rules.

Firms that did not qualify

A ranking is only useful if you can see what it left out. These firms are in the database but fall outside this page's inclusion rule.

Questions about this ranking

Can I use an EA on a prop firm challenge?

At the firms listed here, yes. Read the condition attached: several firms require the strategy to be uniquely yours, which rules out purchased or publicly distributed bots.

Do prop firms allow copy trading?

Fewer than allow EAs. Copying between your own accounts is usually tolerated; copying another trader's signals is often a breach. Each firm page states the position.

Are high-frequency strategies allowed?

Often not. Many of the firms we track prohibit high-frequency trading outright, along with latency-sensitive and tick-scalping approaches and anything that exploits feed behaviour rather than market direction.
