Earn2Trade

Education-led futures funding with an evaluation-stage consistency rule

FuturesSince 20161 programme listed on PropScouting

Earn2Trade is a futures prop firm operating since 2016. This page covers the Gauntlet Mini, its monthly subscription evaluation on $50,000 to $200,000; the firm also sells the Trader Career Path, which is not listed here. The Gauntlet Mini uses an end-of-day trailing drawdown and a 30% consistency rule while you evaluate, and on the funded account the split depends on withdrawal size: 50% below a threshold, 80% above it.

01

Overview

Key advantages

  • Operating since 2016
  • End-of-day trailing rather than intraday
  • Clear progression ladder as the account scales

Key disadvantages

  • 30% consistency rule applies during the evaluation, not just at payout
  • Monthly subscription keeps charging while you evaluate
  • Withdrawals below a size threshold ($2,250 on the $50K) are paid at 50%; the 80% split starts above it

Our assessment

Earn2Trade's rules are shaped by teaching as much as by filtering. The 30% consistency requirement during the evaluation is the defining constraint: it rules out passing on one strong session, and for a trader whose edge is occasional large days it is a genuine obstacle rather than a formality.

Suitable for

  • Traders who want structure and a defined progression
  • Steady, repeatable strategies rather than occasional large days

Less suitable if

  • Your edge produces a few outsized sessions
  • You want the highest available profit split

03

Leverage

Futures programmes do not quote leverage. Position size is bounded by the contract limit per account size instead, which is listed with each programme below.

Gauntlet Mini
Contract limits

Contract limits scale with account size and are enforced by the platform rather than by margin.

04

Consistency

Caps how much of total profit one trading day may represent. Checked at the payout stage at most firms.

30% best-day capBreach raises the target

During the evaluation no single trading day may account for 30% or more of total profit. Breaching it does not fail the evaluation - you keep trading until the best day falls below 30% - and the rule does not apply on funded LiveSim or Live accounts.

In plain terms. With a 30% cap, no single day may be worth more than 30% of your total profit, so you need at least 4 evenly sized winning days before a payout clears. On $10,000 of profit that means your best day cannot exceed $3,000. Breaching it raises your profit target rather than failing you, so nothing is lost - the bar simply moves.

News trading

Allowed

News trading is allowed on evaluation and funded accounts, with no restrictions around economic announcements.

Not allowed

No overnight positions are permitted on evaluation or funded accounts; all positions and working orders must be closed between 3:50pm and 5:00pm CT.

Hedging

Not allowed

Hedging between your funded accounts is strictly forbidden, as is hedging or pooling risk with connected or unrelated accounts.

Other restrictions worth knowing

  • There is no minimum number of trading days, but the 30% consistency rule means passing takes at least four profitable days.
  • The 30% consistency rule applies during the evaluation, not only at payout.
  • Trading is restricted to approved session times.
  • The drawdown trails at the end of the day rather than intraday.
