Affiliate disclosure and editorial policy
How PropScouting makes money, which firms that involves, how outbound links are marked, and the things money has no bearing on.
How we make money
PropScouting has affiliate arrangements with some of the firms we cover. When you buy an evaluation from one of them through a link on this site, or use one of our partner codes at checkout, the firm may pay us a commission. We add nothing to the price you pay. Firms we have no arrangement with are included on the same terms.
Partners: FTMO, FundingPips, FundedNext, The5ers, Blue Guardian, Earn2Trade, Upcomers, AquaFunded, DayTraders.com, Atmos Funded, Crypto Fund Trader, For Traders, Blueberry Funded, Finotive Funding, The Trading Pit.
No arrangement: Tradeify, Apex Trader Funding, MyFundedFutures, Goat Funded Trader, Topstep. These are listed and checked the same way as partners, and their buttons link straight to the firm with no referral code.
How firms get here
To be listed, a firm has to publish its programmes and rules clearly enough to build a page a trader can act on. A firm page sets out the firm's rules: the drawdown model, the loss limits, the consistency rule and the payout terms, with the date the record was last checked. Partners and non-partners are checked and presented the same way.
Some links to partner firms are affiliate links, which means PropScouting may earn a commission if you purchase through them. Links to firms we have no commercial arrangement with lead directly to the firms' websites.
Boundaries
What does not influence what you see here
- Ordering
- The directory shows firms with published user reviews first, highest average rating first, with more published reviews winning a tie. Firms with no published reviews follow, oldest first by founding year. On larger screens you can also sort the directory by user rating, founding year or maximum allocation. Each ranking states which firms it includes, and the methodology page explains how every list is ordered. In the directory and the rankings there is no overall score, no manual reordering and no promoted slots, and being a partner does not move a firm up or decide whether it is listed. The five firms featured on the homepage are separate: a fixed selection in a fixed order, not based on user reviews or affiliate sales. All five are currently partners.
- Deals
- Some deals on PropScouting are public promotions available directly from the firm, with no code needed; others use a PropScouting partner code. Either way, if you buy through one of our links we may earn a commission from the firm. A partner code's discount is shown only when that discount is known, and we do not invent percentages to make an offer look stronger.
- Criticism
- The drawbacks and avoid-if sections are written from the same record as the strengths, for every firm alike.
- User rating
- A firm's user rating is the average star rating of its published reviews on PropScouting. Only published reviews count, for the rating and for the order. No review is seeded, no rating is borrowed from another site, and a firm with no published reviews shows no stars at all.
Risk notice
Proprietary trading evaluations are not investment products and nothing on this site is financial advice. You can lose the fee you pay for an evaluation, and passing one does not guarantee a payout. At many firms the funded account is simulated rather than live; each firm's own terms say how its accounts work.
Prices and rules change without notice. Verify every figure on the firm's own site before paying, and treat anything on this site as the last reading we took rather than a live quote.
Questions about this policy
Do you list firms you have no relationship with?
Yes. Some of the firms we cover have no affiliate arrangement with us and are listed on exactly the same terms as partners. Their buttons link straight to the firm's own site with no referral code.
Would you publish something negative about a firm you link to?
The drawbacks and avoid-if sections on every firm page are written from the same record as the strengths, and several carry blunt criticism. If you find a firm page that reads like marketing copy, that is a failure on our part and worth telling us about at contact@propscouting.com.
Does using a link here cost me more?
We add nothing to the price: any commission is paid by the firm. A partner code is a discount the firm applies at checkout, so check the final price there. Where a discount percentage is not shown, we could not confirm what the code takes off.
How can I check a claim on this site?
Every firm page shows the date its record was last checked. Prices and rules change without notice, so check any figure against the firm's own site before relying on it. How each record is built and checked is set out on the methodology page.
