About us

Making prop firm rules easier to compare.

PropScouting helps traders compare prop firms and their programmes: what an account costs, how its loss limits work, when it pays out, which platforms it runs on and what it does not allow. Every firm is laid out the same way, so you can see quickly whether one fits how you trade.

Why it exists

Prop firm rules are hard to compare.

Every firm words its rules differently and spreads them across pricing pages, help centres and terms. Two accounts that look alike can behave very differently once a trailing drawdown, a consistency rule or a payout condition applies. PropScouting puts those terms side by side in one format, so you can compare like with like before you pay for an evaluation. The decision stays yours.

What PropScouting does

What you can do here

  • Firm profiles

Programmes, prices, loss limits, profit splits, payout terms, platforms, instruments and country restrictions, laid out the same way for every firm.

  • Side-by-side comparison

Put up to four firms next to each other and compare their programmes and rules row by row: targets, drawdown model, daily limits, splits and payout frequency.

  • Challenges by size and price

Filter the challenges on sale by account size, price, number of phases, drawdown model, market and profit split.

  • Rankings and guides

Lists built around one question each, such as which firms use a static drawdown or allow news trading, and guides that explain the rules in plain terms.

  • Trader reviews

Star ratings come only from reviews submitted on PropScouting. We write none of them, so a firm with no reviews shows no rating.

  • Partner deals

Where a firm gives us a discount code, we list it, kept separate from the firm's rules and figures. Each deal is shown with its discount and the conditions that apply.

Research & editorial

PropScouting's firm data and editorial content are maintained in-house. We review the rules, prices, programme terms and restrictions that firms publish, and organise them into the same comparison format for every firm.

If you spot something incorrect or out of date, use the contact details below and include the page and the detail that needs checking.

Principles

How we work

Accuracy first
Every firm record carries the date it was last checked. Where a value could not be confirmed, the page says so instead of showing an estimate.
Clear rules over marketing claims
How the loss line moves, when a payout unlocks and what a consistency rule does decide more outcomes than a headline profit split, so they get the same prominence as the price.
Trader reviews
Every review is submitted by someone who confirms they have traded with the firm. Nothing is seeded, and we publish no rating of our own.
Transparent affiliate relationships
Some firms pay us a commission when you buy through our links or use our codes. Affiliate relationships do not determine ranking order. We disclose these relationships wherever they apply.
Information that helps you decide
No invented overall score and no paid placements. Filter firms by price, drawdown, trading rules and platform, and sort challenges by price, profit split or maximum loss.

Each firm record carries its own checked date, shown on its firm page.

Questions about PropScouting

What is PropScouting?

A comparison site for traders choosing a prop firm. It is not a prop firm, a broker or an introducing agent: we hold no client funds, run no evaluations and give no trading advice. The site is paid for through affiliate links, which are disclosed on every page that carries them.

Do you test the firms yourselves?

No. We do not buy evaluations to test firms, and we do not describe any firm as tested, vetted or audited by us. Each firm page sets out the firm's rules, prices and programme terms, with the date they were last checked.

How do I report an error?

Use the Contact section above and include the page and the detail that needs checking.
