Prop firms that allow news trading

News trading rules come in three flavours and only one of them is a straight yes. Some firms permit it outright. Some block execution in a window around listed releases. Others allow the trade but count only part of the profit. Every firm below permits it outright, and the exact wording sits on its page.

Firms that did not qualify

A ranking is only useful if you can see what it left out. These firms are in the database but fall outside this page's inclusion rule.

Questions about this ranking

Why do prop firms restrict news trading?

Because a simulated feed can fill at prices a real counterparty would not honour during a release. The restriction is a hedging cost for the firm rather than a judgement about your strategy.

Can I trade NFP or CPI at a prop firm?

At the firms listed here, yes. At firms with a blackout, holding or opening a position inside the window - commonly two to five minutes either side - can breach the account or void the profit.

Which prop firms only count part of news profit?

Some firms allow the trade but count a reduced share of profit made inside the release window on funded accounts. The affected firms say so on their PropScouting page under the news trading rule.
