The5ers has sold funded accounts since 2016 and is based in Tel Aviv. It runs High Stakes, a 2-step challenge from $19 for $2,500; Bootcamp, three steps at 6% each with the rest of the fee charged only when you reach the funded stage; and Hyper Growth, a single 10% target. Overview

Key advantages

  • High Stakes accounts start at $19
  • Ten years of operating history
  • Hyper Growth's daily limit pauses rather than fails the account
  • No consistency rule on the standard programmes

Key disadvantages

  • News trading, HFT, copy trading and arbitrage all restricted
  • Flat 80% split with no upgrade
  • MetaTrader 5 only, with no cTrader or TradingView
  • Leverage capped at 1:30 on several programmes

Our assessment

The5ers suits a discretionary manual trader on a small budget: a High Stakes account starts at $19, and a Bootcamp at $22 upfront with the rest of its fee due after passing. But the prohibited-strategy list is long enough that algorithmic, news-driven and high-frequency traders should look elsewhere.

Suitable for

  • Manual discretionary traders on a tight budget
  • Traders who want a long-established firm at a low ticket
  • Traders testing a strategy with real rules but small downside

Less suitable if

  • You run EAs or high-frequency strategies
  • You trade economic releases
  • You need cTrader or TradingView

03

Leverage

Leverage is quoted per asset class and is usually far lower on indices, metals and crypto than on forex. The programme table below carries the headline figure for each account.

Bootcamp
1:30
High Stakes ($2.5K - $25K)
1:100
High Stakes ($50K and $100K)

Hyper Growth

Per-asset leverage is often lower than the headline forex figure. Where we could not verify a firm-level table, the per-programme figure above is what the firm publishes.

04

Consistency

Caps how much of total profit one trading day may represent. Checked at the payout stage at most firms.

No consistency rule

The Bootcamp, High Stakes and Hyper Growth programmes listed here carry no consistency rule. The firm's 1-Step and 2-Step plans apply a 50% rule (on the 2-Step, only once funded), and its futures accounts cap any single trade at 40% of total profit.

Consistency cap by programme

Set per programme, not per firm. Read the row for the plan you intend to buy.

News trading

Restricted

Holding trades through news is allowed on every programme. On High Stakes no order may be executed from 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after a high-impact release, and profit made in that window is deducted. On Hyper Growth and Bootcamp news trading is allowed except for bracketing, placing a buy stop and a sell stop around the release.

EAs and algorithmic trading

Restricted

The5ers' answers conflict. One allows any EA whose source code you own, provided it does not copy other people's signals, tick-scalp, run arbitrage or high-frequency trading, or use emulators. A more recent answer says algorithmic trading is strictly forbidden. Confirm with the firm before running any automation.

Weekend holding

Allowed

Positions may be held overnight and over the weekend on every programme. Indices carry a high weekend swap.

Overnight holding

Allowed

Overnight positions are permitted.

Copy trading

Restricted

You may copy your own trades across your own accounts, but multiple Bootcamp accounts must use different strategies, and on Hyper Growth copying stops once your total managed capital reaches $500,000. Copying other people's signals is not allowed.

Hedging

Not allowed

Hedging is strictly forbidden, as are high-frequency trading and arbitrage strategies.

Other restrictions worth knowing

  • Hyper Growth's 3% daily limit pauses your day rather than terminating the account.
  • Breaching the High Stakes daily limit (5%, or 4% on the $50K and $100K) terminates the account immediately.
  • High Stakes counts profitable days, not trading days: each step, and scaling, needs three days that close at least 0.5% of the initial balance in profit.
  • Flat 80% split across every programme, with no paid upgrade path.
  • MetaTrader 5 only.
