FundingPips

1-step, 2-step and instant accounts, each with its own rule set

Forex / CFDSince 2023Dubai, United Arab Emirates5 programmes listed on PropScoutingA plan with no consistency capStatic drawdown

FundingPips, based in Dubai and operating since 2023, sells five programmes with different rules: the 1 Step Flex, the 2 Step Standard, the 2 Step Flex, the tighter 2 Step Pro and Zero, an instant account with no profit target. The 1 Step Flex and 2 Step Standard each come with a choice of daily loss limit at different prices, and the payout cycle sets your split and whether a consistency score applies, so read the rules of the exact programme and option before you buy.

01

Overview

Key advantages

  • No consistency rule on the 1 Step Flex or 2 Step Standard bi-weekly payout options
  • Built-in trade copier, including out to your own external accounts
  • Five materially different evaluation shapes, not five skins
  • Zero account removes the profit target entirely

Key disadvantages

  • Rules vary sharply between programmes, so it is easy to buy the wrong one
  • Tight loss limits on the 2 Step Pro (6%) and Zero (5%, trailing)
  • Operating since 2023, with a shorter track record than long-established firms

Our assessment

FundingPips suits traders who want no consistency rule on the standard programs. The lineup is genuinely varied rather than cosmetically different, which is a real advantage - and a real risk if you buy the wrong one. FundingPips has operated since 2023, giving it a shorter track record than FTMO.

Suitable for

  • Traders who want no consistency rule on a mainstream firm
  • Traders running an EA they built themselves
  • Traders who want to choose their own risk shape

Less suitable if

  • You want one simple rule set with no program selection
  • You weight a long operating record heavily

04

Consistency

Caps how much of total profit one trading day may represent. Checked at the payout stage at most firms.

A consistency rule appliesBreach delays the payout

FundingPips Zero applies a 15% consistency score to rewards. On the other programmes it depends on the payout cycle, and the weekly and bi-weekly cycles have none. FundingPips' help centre describes the 100% split as a monthly cycle that requires a 35% consistency score and at least seven profitable days, while its comparison table advertises the 100% split as on demand; check which conditions apply before you choose it.

News trading

Restricted

Trades may be held through news. On Master accounts, profit from trades opened or closed within 5 minutes before or after a restricted release, or from 5 minutes before a restricted speech until 5 minutes after it ends, can be deducted, unless the trade was opened at least 5 hours earlier. Deliberately trading news is prohibited, and FundingPips Zero bans opening, closing or holding trades around restricted news.

EAs and algorithmic trading

Restricted

Third-party EAs may be used only as trade or risk managers. An EA you built yourself may trade fully automated if you can prove ownership, for example with its source code.

Weekend holding

Restricted

Weekend holds are allowed in the evaluation on the 1 Step Flex, 2 Step Standard, 2 Step Flex and 2 Step Pro. On their Master accounts, open trades are closed automatically unless the Swing add-on was bought at purchase. FundingPips Zero does not allow weekend holds at all.

Overnight holding

Restricted

Overnight holds are allowed in the evaluation. On 1 Step Flex, 2 Step Standard, 2 Step Flex and 2 Step Pro Master accounts, the system closes every open trade each day (20:45 to 21:00 UTC in summer, 21:45 to 22:00 UTC in winter) unless the Swing add-on was bought at purchase. A separate swap-free add-on is sold for holding overnight without swap charges.

Copy trading

Restricted

Copying between your own FundingPips accounts, or from a FundingPips account out to your own external account, is allowed. Copying into a FundingPips account from signals or other traders, copying between different users, and third-party account management are prohibited.

Hedging

Not allowed

Hedging is on FundingPips' list of forbidden strategies, along with opposite-account trading, and leads to account termination.

Other restrictions worth knowing

  • The 1 Step Flex and 2 Step Standard have no consistency rule on their bi-weekly payout option.
  • Rules differ substantially between the five programmes; read the one you are buying.
  • The 1 Step Flex is sold with a 2% or 3% daily loss limit and the 2 Step Standard with 3% or 5%. The stricter option costs less, and on the 2 Step Standard it also removes the three minimum trading days.
  • These are FundingPips' rules for accounts bought or reset from 28 September 2026; accounts bought earlier keep its legacy rules.
