Stellar CFD evaluations with a paid split add-on, and Futures Flex challenges

Forex / CFDFuturesSince 2022Dubai, United Arab Emirates3 programmes listed on PropScoutingA plan with no consistency capA plan with no daily loss limitStatic drawdown

FundedNext, based in Dubai and operating since 2022, sells its Stellar challenges on MetaTrader 4 and 5, cTrader, Match-Trader and TradingView, and its futures challenges on Tradovate, NinjaTrader and TradingView. This page covers the Stellar 2-Step, with a static 10% loss limit and no time limit, the one-phase Stellar 1-Step, which pays weekly, and the one-step Futures Flex, with a loss limit that trails the end-of-day balance and no daily loss limit. Stellar Instant and Lite accounts, and FundedNext's other futures accounts, are sold too but are not listed here. Stellar's base split is 80%, and the advertised 95% is a paid add-on at checkout; Futures Flex includes a 95% split.

01

Overview

Key advantages

  • Account sizes from $6K to $200K on the Stellar programmes
  • Static maximum loss and no time limit on the 2-Step
  • 5-business-day payout cycle on 1-Step and Instant programmes
  • Stellar 2-Step fee refunded with the first funded reward
  • Cheap entry point for testing the platform

Key disadvantages

  • On Stellar accounts, the 95% split costs extra at checkout
  • News-window profit discounted to 40% on CFD funded accounts
  • Several programme types to compare, each with its own rules
  • Prices are revised without notice

Our assessment

FundedNext is worth a spreadsheet rather than a glance. Once you price the split upgrade against your expected profit, the headline 95% often stops being the deciding factor - and the underlying 2-Step rules are ordinary in a good way: static drawdown, no time limit, 5% daily. Buy it for the program range and the fast payout cycles, not for the marketing number.

Suitable for

  • Traders who want a small account to test a firm cheaply
  • Traders who value fast payout cycles
  • EA traders on MetaTrader accounts under $50K

Less suitable if

  • Your CFD strategy depends on release-window profit
  • You want a single simple product rather than a program menu

03

Leverage

Leverage applies to the CFD programmes and is quoted per asset class. Futures programmes are bounded by a contract limit per account size instead.

Contract limits scale with account size and are enforced by the platform rather than by margin. Per-asset leverage is often lower than the headline forex figure. Where we could not verify a firm-level table, the per-programme figure above is what the firm publishes.

04

Consistency

Caps how much of total profit one trading day may represent. Checked at the payout stage at most firms.

40% best-day capEffect differs by programme

On Stellar accounts there is no consistency rule on the standard payout schedule. If you choose the On-Demand payout option at checkout (Stellar 2-Step and Lite), your best trading day must be under 40% of total profit when you request a reward; it is checked only at the request, not as a daily cap. Futures Flex has a 40% rule in the challenge only: if one day's profit is more than 40% of the profit target, the target rises to that day's profit divided by 0.4. The funded Flex account has no consistency rule.

Consistency cap by programme

News trading

Restricted

News trading is allowed during the Stellar 2-Step challenge. On the funded account, only 40% of profit made within five minutes either side of a listed high-impact release is counted. FundedNext's futures accounts have no news trading restriction.

EAs and algorithmic trading

Restricted

On CFD accounts, EAs and bots are allowed only on MT4 and MT5 accounts below $50,000, with a paid EA add-on. Accounts of $50,000 and above, and all cTrader and Match-Trader accounts, must be traded manually. Each EA must run its own strategy, capped at $300,000, and EAs built to pass prop challenges are banned. On futures accounts, EAs and bots are allowed in the challenge and once funded if each is set up for your own strategy and does not place identical trades across accounts; EAs linked to apps such as Telegram or WhatsApp, latency abuse and order flooding are banned.

Weekend holding

Restricted

Positions may be held over the weekend on Stellar 1-Step, 2-Step and Lite accounts, in the challenge and once funded. Futures positions must be closed by 3:10 PM CT every trading day, so none are held over the weekend.

Overnight holding

Restricted

Positions may be held overnight on every CFD account type. Swap charges apply on swap accounts and count toward the daily loss. Futures positions still open at 3:10 PM CT are closed automatically, and trading reopens at 5:00 PM CT.

Copy trading

Restricted

On CFD accounts, copying is allowed between your own FundedNext challenge accounts, up to $300,000 combined with one account set as the master. Copying between accounts owned by different people, including family and friends or through cloud copy tools, is prohibited. On futures accounts, you may copy between your own FundedNext accounts and your own accounts at other prop firms, registered in the same name; signal services and group trading are prohibited.

Hedging

Restricted

On CFD accounts, hedging is allowed only within the same account; hedging or group hedging across accounts is prohibited. On futures accounts, offsetting positions in the same or a correlated contract are prohibited within one account and across accounts, as is coordinating opposite trades with other traders.

Other restrictions worth knowing

  • On Stellar accounts, the 95% split is a paid upgrade bought at checkout.
  • Payout cadence varies by programme: 14 days on 2-Step and Lite, 5 business days on 1-Step and Instant.
  • News profit is discounted to 40% inside the release window on CFD funded accounts.
  • On futures accounts, profit from trades closed within 10 seconds is tracked each cycle: at 40% or more of the cycle's profit, a challenge cannot pass until the share falls, and a funded account loses that profit for the cycle.

Questions about FundedNext

Does FundedNext allow news trading?

Does FundedNext allow EAs and automated trading?

With conditions.

Does FundedNext have a consistency rule?

On Stellar accounts there is no consistency rule on the standard payout schedule. If you choose the On-Demand payout option at checkout (Stellar 2-Step and Lite), your best trading day must be under 40% of total profit when you request a reward; it is checked only at the request, not as a daily cap. Futures Flex has a 40% rule in the challenge only: if one day's profit is more than 40% of the profit target, the target rises to that day's profit divided by 0.4. The funded Flex account has no consistency rule.

What is the FundedNext drawdown rule?

On the Stellar 2-Step, the maximum loss is 10% of the starting balance and the daily loss limit is 5%. The drawdown model is static: The loss line is fixed to your starting balance and never moves.

How much does FundedNext cost?

The cheapest published ticket we verified is $59.99, and accounts run from $6K to $200K. Prices in this sector change without notice, so treat this as the last verified reading rather than a live quote.

What is the FundedNext profit split?

Up to 95%. Stellar 2-Step and Stellar Lite run a 14-day payout cycle. Stellar 1-Step and Stellar Instant move to 5 business days once the first-payout gate is cleared. How often does FundedNext pay out?

The fastest cadence on any FundedNext programme is weekly. Minimum withdrawal: $20 on Stellar CFD accounts; $250 on Futures Flex. Payout methods: Crypto, Rise, Bank transfer.

Can I hold FundedNext positions over the weekend?

With restrictions. Positions may be held over the weekend on Stellar 1-Step, 2-Step and Lite accounts, in the challenge and once funded. Futures positions must be closed by 3:10 PM CT every trading day, so none are held over the weekend.
